Large Scale Composting

I found a short Urban Harvest video on flickr that was taken a few months ago, so you can see some of what we've been working on with the Soil Builders. This is one of the larger mounds, but there are piles of various sizes all around the site that demonstrate the different methods of composting. As of this week, I think we've composted something like 30,000 lbs of food that would have otherwise been thrown away.
